Dr. Lei Yue is a postdoctoral researcher at the Integrated Data, Energy Analysis + Simulation (IDEAS) Lab, specializing in machine learning and data analytics for smart building systems. His current research focuses on thermal comfort assessment and management in mixed-mode ventilation systems for tropical climates. As a former building performance engineer and LEED reviewer, he brings practical industry experience in energy modeling, HVAC design, and decarbonization strategies. He is passionate about R&D that leverages big data to drive sustainable building solutions.
