Kum Ja is an accomplished researcher with over 15 years of expertise in air-conditioning and energy systems, specializing in system resistance, resilience, and recovery at institutions such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He possesses nearly six years of teaching and curriculum development experience as a lecturer at Mandalay Technological University. In addition to academic achievements, he brings two years of full-time industrial experience in the oil and gas sector as an expansion joint specialist and continues to serve as a consultant in this field. He is a multidisciplinary engineering and research background provides unique insight into building performance and drives innovative solutions.
