Siyu Cheng is a PhD candidate at the National University of Singapore specializing in energy simulation and thermal-resilient building design, with a strong interest in advanced modeling and simulation tools. Her research focuses on integrating natural and mechanical ventilation to create comfortable, energy-efficient indoor environments that can adapt to future climate challenges. She also works on enhancing the reliability of building energy models through calibration with real-world measurements. Siyu holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Science, and is passionate about translating research into practical solutions that enable architects, engineers, and policymakers to design buildings that save energy, enhance comfort, and foster climate resilience.
