Yue Lei is a Research Fellow in the Department of the Built Environment at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He specializes in building performance modelling and optimization, with a strong focus on Model Predictive Control (MPC), indoor CFD application, and building operating data analysis.
He was working as a Building Performance Analyst in a MEP/FP consulting company in the US for 4 years. He supports the High Performance Group in delivering green technologies and strategies for over 30 construction projects concentrated on the energy efficiency, daylighting, thermal comfort, and indoor airflow distribution. Yue is a licensed Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and LEED Official Reviewer.
